Oil-less compressors are used in production facilities where clean air is required for processes & systems and absolutely no risk of oil contamination is permitted.
Unlike oil-sealed compressors, an oil-less compressor compresses air entirely through the mechanical action of the compressor, without the use of an oil seal. Oil-less compressors are 100% free of oil, completely eliminating the possibility of oil contamination.
Lubricated compressors use oil to seal, lubricate, and cool, leaving oil content in the compressed air, but oil-less compressors deliver the highest quality, clean air without the need for separation.
